Bringing true "Gold Standard" surgery
TO YOUR LOCAL CLINIC
I founded VetMIP with a simple mission: Your pet shouldn't have to leave their trusted vet to advanced, minimally invasive care.

Why I went
Mobile
Graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 2004, I spent years working in general practice. I saw the same heart-wrenching scenario play out again and again:
A family would come in with a pet needing a specialized procedure—like a complex biopsy or a preventative gastropexy. But because our clinic didn't have the heavy equipment, we had to refer them to a unfamiliar emergency hospital.
I saw the stress it caused. The travel. The costs. The fear of leaving a pet with strangers.
I realized there had to be a better way.
Instead of moving the patient to the equipment, why not move the equipment to the patient? Since 2015, I have been traveling across Southern Ontario, turning local clinics into advanced surgical centers for the day.

THE THREE PILLARS OF MY PRACTICE
65% LESS PAIN
Published studies confirm significantly lower pain scores compared to traditional spays.
ACTIVE IN 3 DAYS
Most pets are back to leash walking within 48–72 hours, not 2 weeks.
TINY SCARS
The incisions are so small they often don't even require external stitches.
65% Less Pain

Tiny Scars
THE SCIENCE BACKS IT UP
According to the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association (JAVMA) (2005), dogs undergoing laparoscopic spays demonstrated:
65% Less Post-Operative Pain.
Significant cortisol reduction.
Fewer surgical site infections.
MORE THAN JUST A SURGEON
At the end of the day, I am a pet owner just like you.
My home is ruled by our 2 Boxers Gary and Maui. My wife is also a veterinarian, so our dinner table conversations almost always revolve around animal care.
I treat every patient who goes under anesthesia as if they were my own. That means obsessive attention to pain management, safety, and comfort.
Whether you are a pet owner looking for answers or a clinic looking for a surgical partner, I’m here to help.
